Manchester United eyeing a deadline day move for struggling PSG defender Layvin Kurzawa
Man United are set to make a late bid for PSG defender Layvin Kurzawa
- Kurzawa joined PSG from Monaco in 2015
- Mourinho is frustrated about Man United poor show in the transfer market
Premier League giants Manchester United are reportedly planning to sign Paris Saint Germain defender Layvin Kurzawa this summer.
The Red Devils are hoping they can complete the deal before this summer transfer window closes later today as the club's boss Jose Mourinho wants to strengthen his defence.
He joined the Parisians from Monaco in 2015 but struggled for playing time at the Parc Des Pricess last term - featuring just 20 times in the French League.
According French news outlet, L'Equipe, the Old Trafford's chiefs are doing all they can to land the struggling PSG star.
Meanwhile, the 25-year-old is expected to add quality to United's back line - and possibly provide healthy competition for Luke Shaw in the team.
Kurzawa joined the Ligue 1 champions in a five year deal for €23 million from Monaco but failed to shine under former manager Unai Emery.
With new boss Thomas Tuchel in charge, this season could be different for the Frenchman.
